The Washington DC Hall of Fame Society recognizes District of Columbia residents and other individuals from the region who have had an outstanding impact on the city and contributed to the city in many ways.  These men and women have an extensive history  of exemplary contributions in areas  of business, civic/community development, cultural arts, communications, education, health, politics, law, religion, science/technology and sports.

Many of the Hall of Famers have established neighborhood programs, led innovative projects, inventions, and other transformations which resulted in improvements in schools and communities, which have enhanced the quality of life for our residents. Their outstanding initiative and creativity, locally, regionally or nationally is a requirement for induction into the Washington DC Hall of Fame.
